Description

When launched, the Airone was unrivalled in its popularity and versatility, a real best-seller in the new motorised post-war world. The engine, with closed valve operating mechanism and integrated 4-speed gearbox with chain to the rear wheel, was modern standard technology.

The comfortable suspension, hydraulic damping in the front fork, the rear swinging arm with two closed tension springs under the frame, has its advantages, especially on long trips, but the Airone also positions itself excellently in competition. Weighing just 120 kg, it is easy and safe to ride, and is also very popular with women.

Our auction example has only had three previous owners in its long history. The Moto Guzzi looks like it has come straight out of the showroom, beautifully restored and in the same condition as on its very first day. Extensive documentation is available. A wonderful opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts. This Moto Guzzi Airone is in top condition and ready to drive.
